Tour Itinerary

Morning Time

• Pick-Up from Your Hotel: Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel or guesthouse in Sen Monorom, where you’ll meet your friendly local guide.
• Visit Pulung Village: Drive 10 km to Pulung, a Bunong indigenous village. Walk through the village and meet the local people, experiencing their unique way of life. Step into a traditional Bunong house, where you’ll see their distinctive lifestyle, including how they prepare food, store crops, and use of agricultural tools. Your guide will introduce you to the Bunong language and explain their spiritual beliefs.
• Agricultural Exploration: Continue through the village to observe the lush agricultural valleys where locals grow dry rice, tapioca, cashew nuts, and tropical fruits like bananas and pineapples. The views from this valley are perfect for photography and provide an authentic glimpse into the villagers’ farming traditions.

Mid-Day Time

• Bou Sra Waterfall: Journey onward to Cambodia’s largest and most famous waterfall, Bou Sra. The two-tiered waterfall offers breathtaking views, with the first fall at 17 meters and the second plunging an impressive 50 meters. During the dry season, you can walk down to the second tier, enjoy a refreshing swim, and even stand behind the waterfall for a unique experience.
• Lunch at a Coffee Plantation: After the waterfall, relax at a local coffee plantation where you can enjoy a delicious Mondulkiri pancake (Banh Chev), stuffed with fresh vegetables and your choice of chicken or pork. Wash it down with the best coffee Cambodia has to offer, and take a leisurely stroll around the plantation to see coffee, pepper, and exotic fruits like dragon fruit and durian growing amidst the tranquil scenery.

Afternoon Time

• Phnom Doh Kromom (Hill Spirit): Next, drive to the top of Phnom Doh Kromom for panoramic views of Sen Monorom and the rolling grassy hills.
• Sea of Forests: Finally, visit the scenic viewpoint known as the Sea of Forests (Samot Chheur), where you’ll witness the breathtaking expanse of jungle stretching out as far as the eye can see. After soaking in the stunning natural beauty, we return to Sen Monorom to complete the tour.
